We are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.3 wte) Catholic Chaplain for the Brompton site: • To assist in meeting the religious and spiritual needs of patients, their families and friends, and staff in the Trust. • To co-ordinate the pastoral care of Catholic patients, staff and relatives and visitors throughout the hospital. • To liaise with the priests of the Brompton Oratory in organising 24/7 hour emergency cover. • To be the Chaplaincy Lead for the Adult Intensive Care Unit and to work generically in this context with all patients and staff.

An exci ng opportunity has arisen in this new role based at the Catholic Truth Society (CTS) in South London.


Established in 1868, the CTS is a charity that publishes books and resources aimed at helping Catholics gain a deeper understanding of their faith and sharing it with others.


The CTS recognises that it must become much more sales and commercially focused than at present and need an experienced Sales and Marke ng professional to help them move forward.


Repor ng to the General Secretary and managing four direct reports, this will be a challenging but very rewarding new role.


The key areas of focus will be to: Increase sales volumes and generate greater income Set annual  nancial targets and performance measures Increase Membership and Fundraising ac vi es

meets the needs of its exis ng and future audiences • Nego ate agreements with publishers and suppliers Improve customer service


You will have highly developed communica on skills, excellent organisa on skills and the gravitas and experience to manage a complex team in a highly compe  ve market. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate success whilst working under pressure, possess excellent nego a ng skills and have a sound knowledge of database management systems. An understanding or experience of shop and on-line retailing will be an advantage.


Ideally, you will also have experience of Fundraising and Membership schemes and be sympathe c to the charitable aims of the CTS.
