2011-2012 General Orders No. 2
1. VFW National Home for Children Health & Happiness/Christmas Cheer fund: Monies can be taken from the Relief Fund. Checks shall be made payable to the Ladies Auxiliary VFW and mailed to National Headquarters, 406 W. 34th St. 10th Fl., Kansas City, MO 64111.
2. Auxiliaries that have not submitted an Installation Report by January 1, 2012, may have their Charters cancelled by the National President.
3. The Ladies Auxiliary Mid-Year Conference will be held February 23-26, 2012, Honolulu, Hawaii.
4. The Treasurer’s report shall be incorporated in the minutes. There is no motion necessary, as the Treasurer’s report is subject to audit.
5. The Auxiliary President shall appoint a committee of no less than five (5) members, including the Treasurer, to contact all members during the year for payment of dues. Sec. 810A
6. Audit Committee – Sec. 814: The Trustees shall submit and read the written audit during an Auxiliary meeting. A motion to accept the audit is required. A copy of the accepted audit shall be included in the minutes record book.
Any negligence on the part of the
Trustees in carrying out the mandate of this section, or in attending audits, shall make them individually and collectively responsible, with any other for any discrepancy.
7. Please send in your $2.00 per member for Cancer Aid & Research to your Department Treasurer. This donation may be taken from your Relief Fund.

8. Correspondence: Reference National Bylaws, Booklet of Instructions, Pages 10-12, and Matters of Concern on Page 12. Contact your Department President in writing first. The Department President shall have the first opportunity to assist members and Auxiliaries in her Department.
9. The 99th National Convention will be held in Reno, Nevada, July 21-25, 2012.
10. It was approved at National Convention that Section 1001-Uniform of the Bylaws be deleted; therefore, there is no official Ladies Auxiliary VFW uniform. The resolutions submitted at the National Convention for a uniform were tabled. The National President is to appoint a committee to find a suitable Auxiliary blue uniform to be voted on at the National Convention in Reno, Nevada. Until such time of this adoption, members may continue to wear the old Ladies Auxiliary blue uniform. Should they not have this uniform, a black suit (pants or skirt) with a white blouse will be acceptable. The new Ladies Auxiliary VFW logo pin may be purchased when available through the VFW Store and worn in place of the pocket badge and on the black suit.
