I had Mount Holyoke in my will when all I had was a ten-year-old truck and a sewing machine! The College would not have received anything at the time, but I felt it was important to have

MHC in my will and knew that someday there would be something to leave. It has gone from a percentage to an actual dollar amount.

Mary Lyon Society Bequests: Provide Today for Future Generations BY GRETCHEN WUTH HAYS ’6 4, National Chair, Mary Lyon Society

I’d like the opportunity to thank you now—not your relative or your attorney in the future—for your designated bequest to Mount Holyoke. If you have included Mount Holyoke as a beneficiary of your estate plan—through your will, retirement plan, life insurance, charitable trust, living trust—I would like to acknowledge you for supporting the College in this meaningful way. The Mary Lyon Society was created for that purpose: to recognize alumnae and friends who have made provisions for Mount Holyoke through their estate plans. Every bequest to Mount Holyoke has an impact.

Whether you give to the operating budget or endow- ment, to scholarship aid or faculty support, your gift will help the College remain at the forefront of

educating women for purposeful engagement in the world. It will be my profound pleasure

to thank you for your gift to future generations of Mount Holyoke

women. Please let me know if you have made a provision for the College. I look forward to hearing from you. Contact me

through the Office of Gift Planning: 800-MHC-GIVE or giftplanning@mtholyoke.edu. Thank you.

You can explore gift options confidentially on MHC’s new interactive planned giving website: www.mtholyoke.edu/go/giftplanning.
