FARMER’S MARKET

Insider Parking Tips

No need to worry – once you know the tricks of the trade, you’ll find that there are plenty of parking spaces to accommo- date all of our Hillcrest Farmers Market attendees! Please read below to learn a few insider tips to find the best parking in town.

The DMV Parking Lot is the perfect

place to snag a free parking spot located at the intersection of Lincoln and Normal Street. This parking lot is easily accessible and is just a step away from the market. Make sure to come early to find a spot in this lot or you might have to battle it out for parking spaces. Local neighborhood streets offer an

array of free parking spaces nearby and are just a short stroll away from the Heart of the Market. The best strategy for find- ing a spot is to start by cruising down the side streets between Washington Street and University Avenue and then work your way outward. Metered parking spots are free on

Sundays and along with being within walk- ing distance to the market they also grant you VIP parking to enjoy the rest of the afternoon in Hillcrest! The Post Office Parking Lot is always

a great “plan b” if you are having trouble finding a parking space and it is a steal of a deal for just $1.00!
