New Greenfield Center Offers Care for the Entire Family p
rimary care from Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin is closer than ever for those who live or work in southwest Milwaukee County. The new Greenfield Highlands Health Center
recently opened at 4455 S. 108 St., Greenfield, and its physicians are welcoming patients. Conveniently located between Budget South Cinemas and Organ Piper Pizza on Highway 100, the center offers internal and family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, a walk-in clinic, a SpineCare clinic, plus imaging and laboratory services.
Families can come to the center for their health care needs, including
after-hours walk-in care. “We have everything on site, including MRIs, X-rays and lab, so we can
get results very quickly,” said Stuti Shankar, MD, a Medical College of Wisconsin internist who practices at the center. The center also utilizes electronic medical records, so information can quickly be transferred to specialists for continuity of care and records are available to patients online via MyChart®
. “Patients who need additional specialty care will benefit from our personal knowledge of the expertise available at Froedtert
& The Medical College, eastern Wisconsin’s only academic medical center, which is about 10 minutes away,” Dr. Shankar said. “The patient comes first,” said Carmi Zager, RN, clinic nurse manager at the center. “We want to provide easy access to
comprehensive health care.” greenfield cenTer open house
