SO eagerly awaited it’s likely to instigate riots (the good kind), Coloursound will bring an exciting blend of established artists and up-and-coming talent to a range of venues across Leeds and Manchester – including The Warehouse (soon to reopen), Soundcontrol, Stylus, Wire and Nation of Shopkeepers. As unique in its diversity as its reliance on venues of varying sizes across two cities – from intimate 200-cap nooks to 2000-strong big rooms over three seasons – Coloursound is poised to become one of the country’s leading clubbing brands. The likes of Ram records’ favourite DC Breaks, chart-


topper DJ Fresh, Kevin Saunderson, Stacey Pullen, Tiefschwarz, Levon Vincent (new tune ‘Man or Mistress’ above) and DJmag columnist/Radio 1 favourite Heidi are just a few bookings likely to cause roadblocks. Kicking off on Saturday 24th September at The Warehouse in Leeds, and running until Saturday 3rd December, the icing on the cake will be the finale at Leeds University Union (featuring DJ Fresh live Kenny Dope and Trentemoller) already creating a massive buzz across the dance music community.
