Inderscience Publishers publishes four new journals


Inderscience Publishers has published the fi rst issues of four new journals. The journals are International Journal of Hydrology Science and Technology, International Journal of Management Development,


International Journal of Satellite Communications Policy and Management, and International Journal of Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. www.inderscience.com


Oxford Journals launches pilot of online open-access charges


Oxford University Press (OUP) has launched a pilot to administer open-access charges online through an ordering system built on top of the existing Oxford Journals Author Services infrastructure. The new system is described as a continuation of OUP’s drive to streamline the


publication process for all authors.


The system will roll out to Oxford Journals’ full collection of open-access titles in summer 2011. A project is underway to incorporate all other author charges into the system. www.oxfordjournals.org/ oxfordopen

From October, University Publishing Online from Cambridge University Press will provide e-books and related database products from a variety of academic publishers worldwide on a single platform. The fi rst publishers to join the site are Boydell & Brewer, Liverpool
