IF ever there was a decent standalone synth app, this little powerhouse packs a punch for its price vs. features specifications. Let’s point out here that this is just a synth, nothing else – no recording, sequencing, sampling capabilities, it exists to create sound with simulated synthesis. This results in a streamlined price and a focus on what makes a synth work so well on this type of device. and delay. Only 4 voice polyphony is possible, although this doesn’t really present much of an issue – we’re not looking to use complex chordal patterns, it’s more about the actual sounds. A recent addition to the standard functions is the auto-arpeggiator so you can create your own shifting arpeggio patterns on-the-fly. Developers of premium mobile music apps should take note of useful tools like this for inclusion in their own products.
