DARK SONG TALE OF US VISIONQUEST
A young Dutch duo with a taste for disco, boogie and Lenny Kravitz (hunt down their superb ‘Lenny’ re-edit), plus of course the fi nest house music that money can buy, this week sees the release of Homework’s ‘Rally Racquet Club’ EP on Made to Play while in early July Exploited let loose a remix package of their hugely successful ‘Hudson Square’ EP, those dropping their own interpretations including Phil
Weeks and Martin Dawson & Andre Crom. Their Beatport chart is a similarly studied affair, as anyone who’s seen them DJ can attest, with Omar S’s emphatically titled Detroit anthem ‘Here’s Your Trance Now Dance!’ sat next to the cut-up garage of Todd Edward’s sweet ‘Main Vibe’, and Tale of Us’ pulsing ‘Night Song’ next to the epic chord progressions of Pional’s ‘Where Eagles Dare’.
