 The Fall 2009 issue of Carnegie Mech showcases the impressive achievements of the nearly 500 students currently enrolled in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.Their success can be attributed to their own initiative and hard work, as well as the many worldclass resources available to them—including research facilities, technology, innovative courses, and financial assistance in the form of scholar- ships and fellowships.Many of these resources are provided by the ongoing generosity of the alumni and friends of the Department.We thank the following donors for their support of MechE’s future success stories.
