Church Planting
Church planting is quickly becoming the new wave of evangelism in communities around the United States. In the last 20 years, close to 60,000 churches were planted across the nation. The majority of these church plants came out of non-denominational groups; only one in eight were started by mainline denominations. As the Southern Baptist Convention looks to move forward in evangelistic church planting efforts this year, consider how your church and congregation can get involved in supporting SBC church plants.
