Table Ready Half Country Hams
The hams you see here are all country style hams aged anywhere from 4 months (Southern Smokehouse) to 9 months (Attic Aged). During this curing and aging process hams actually shrink as much as 25%. As the cure permeates the ham over the months of aging the color becomes deeper and the flavor much more pronounced and complex. If you’re new to country style hams we recommend our Southern Smokehouse style. You can easily identify this them by the “B” in the item number.
Attic aged hams get their name from the large 4-story aging attic where they spend months naturally aging in the Ozark air. This natural aging process is nearly extinct in today’s fast paced world. This extra time gives an even deeper color and more pronounced flavor. A ham connoisseur’s dream come true.

Southern Smokehouse Half Country Ham Here is our most popular half Country Ham aged 4 to 6 months. This Southern Smokehouse ham has been hickory smoked and then cooked by our 24-hour method. This slow cooking is one of the keys to a tender ham. This ham makes entertaining a cinch since it is fully cooked and ready to serve. In fact, you do not even need to slice it because we have already spiral sliced it. You just cut around the bone with a knife and the slices fall away. It is wonderful to keep in the refrigerator for nibbling between meals, for making noon-day sandwiches, or for an easy meal. It is best when served at room temperature or gently heated.

If you prefer a stronger taste in country ham try the Attic Aged Half Ham. This ham is also cooked and spiral sliced. These hams are not smoked (aged 7 to 9 months) and have that old- fashioned aged country ham flavor. They are fully cooked, closely trimmed, and then spiral sliced. They may be served at room temperature or slightly heated. Ham may be glazed with our special complimentary honey glaze just before serving (directions included).
