south england solar Farms On behalf of a confidential ePc contractor, we are currently providing technical advice and detailed design for a large number of proposed ‘solar Farms’ in england located primarily in the South of the country in cornwall and Devon. Works are at an advanced stage where our support includes activities for both planning applications and detailed design where approved. Our work includes; site inspections and constraints analysis, determining methods for Pv cell connections, site layout planning, grid connection and more.


‘World first’ biofuel plant in the uK the Biofuel corporation manufacturing plant in teesside, uk, will be one of the world’s largest of its type when commissioned. it uses a vegetable oil to produce biodiesel and a pharmaceutical industry by-product and will have an annual production capacity for 250,000 mt of biofuel. the scale of the plant was considered to be a world first. WSP assisted Biofuels corporation to develop an application to the environment agency for a permit to operate under the iPPC regime and worked intimately with the Process Design consultants and environment agency team.
