PLANT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Dee Valley Water provides drinking water to a population of around 258,000 people across North East Wales, Chester and the surrounding area. The Company is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic Plant Maintenance Supervisor who will lead a team of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation technicians.
The team is responsible for the upgrading and maintenance of a range of plant and equipment ranging from small pumping stations to large scale water treatment plants. The role is very much ‘hands on’ and the successful candidate will be required to lead the team whilst participating in the team activities.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate clear leadership skills with the ability to communicate, motivate and set targets for the team. Applicants must be suitably qualified to either City and Guilds, NVQ level 4 or Diploma level with previous experience in instrumentation. Supervisory or management qualifications would be advantageous
The position is full time and permanent upon satisfactory completion of a nine-month probationary period.
