Rittal provides an effective solution Using diagonal fan technology to increase the working back pressure, Rittal’s new TopTherm fan and filter units provide an increased and more stable airflow, even with contaminated filters.
As diagonal airflow offers a greater spread of air within the enclosure, the possibility of hot spots is reduced and fewer maintenance intervals are needed to replace filter mats.
The new generation of fan and
filter units require no tools. It is possible to fasten into the enclosure, modify the airflow direction, change the electrical connections and replace the filter mats, all without tools.

SIPOS actuators prevent a surge SIPOS Aktorik offers variable speed actuation technology, which addresses water surge issues, and which has been proven through a number of installations worldwide. The travel dependent, adjustable positioning of SIPOS 5 flash actuators generates linear flow, enabling operating speeds to be fine tuned and prevent water hammer.
SIPOS: linear flow
In Colorado in the US, the company’s actuators have been used at a booster pump station in East Cherry Creek Valley, where water flow is managed from the high volume pump to successfully avoid hammer, which could damage the station’s water system.
