Aboard The Gauguin, you’ll enjoy the finest dining in the South Seas, inspired by the culinary talents of Jean-Pierre Vigato, owner and Chef Propriétaire of the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Apicius—one of the finest restaurants in Paris. Chef Vigato’s signature menu is featured at La Veranda, with signature dishes also offered at L’Etoile.
In addition, Chef Vigato will join us on our June 23, 2012, sailing to Tahiti & the Society Islands. As our special guest, he will prepare gourmet dishes and offer demonstrations of his culinary techniques.
L’Etoile… Enjoy artfully presented, fine continental cuisine with a Polynesian accent and diligent attention in the ship’s main restaurant.
La Veranda… This elegant restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating offers sumptuous breakfast and lunch buffets. For reservation-only dinner, La Veranda features Chef Vigato’s signature menu and a fine selection of wine.
Le Grill… Greet the sun with an al fresco buffet breakfast and lunch. For a more casual dining experience at dinner, reserve your place at a table serving grilled Pacific specialties.
