Sunvil Holidays took a selection of top travel agents for a spring boat trip on the Thames, packing a picnic hamper and training materials to promote its new Scandinavian and Alentejo (Portugal) programmes for 2011. The operator hosted eight agents who learnt all about Sunvil's new charter fl ight direct into Beja, Portugal – the fi rst UK fl ight into this unexplored region – as they meandered down the river. Kristina Hulme, Travel By Design, said: “It was the best training session I’ve had in 43 years!”

launched a fun photo contest encouraging photographers to rediscover Jordan through their lenses. Entries must be submitted by June 15 and should fi t one of the following categories: Charming Faces; Stunning Landscapes; Historic Monuments; Enriching Culture or Magnifi cent Wildlife. Photos can be in colour or black-and- white. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality, and effectiveness in conveying the beauty and/ or unique character of Jordan in each of the contest categories as judged by a JTB panel.
