DON’T JUST TAKE IT FROM US. Ask anyone who was there. The DJmag Pool Party at Miami’s Shelborne Hotel last month was absolutely killer. Dubfi re, James Zabiela, Dennis Ferrer, SOS, Art Department, Lee Foss... all by the side of a pool in the blazing sunshine of South Beach, it was our idea of heaven (with a decent soundtrack). And while there were plenty of treats on during Ultra Week – Ultra itself, a season of mental events at Shelborne,


the more underground delicacies on offer downtown at Electric Pickle – one of our highlights of the year was A-Trak’s set at our very own party. Combining the turntablism skills that made his name at the DMCs all those moons ago with the scuzzy electro/house he produces alongside Armand Van Helden as Duck Sauce today, his set literally blew the place away.
