Talking to Your Doctor
Open up. Be honest about how your symptoms affect your life. What you say will help shape your treatment plan.
Do you leak urine or have wetting accidents when you’re active? Or when you cough, sneeze or laugh?
Are leaks just a few drops or enough to soak your clothes?
Do leaks get worse when your bladder is full?
Does anything make leaks worse? Better?
Do leaks affect your work, social or sex life?
Already being treated? Share these answers at each visit. If your symptoms change, it may be a sign that your doctor needs to adjust your treatment.
