“Too many developers fall in love with an idea. They will often have a vision for something in what they believe is a beautiful setting. But is the concept right? Is the location right? Will people travel there?” OMER ISVAN, SERVOTOL CORPORATION. HOTEL REPORT: PAGES 46-51

““I think the situation could possibly improve in Egypt, but we need to get everyone back here. I think a lot of people are waiting to see what happens. We’ve had a revolution, and this country hasn’t governed itself for 30 years, so we’re waiting to see who comes forward.” PETER MITRY, EGYPT REAL, HOTEL REPORT: PAGES 46-51

The hotels and hospitality sector has been as equally hard hit by the recession as our own. OPP reports from the IHIF conference in Berlin, and also looks at how the resort sector in Egypt has fared since the revolution. Are tourists and sales on the way back?
