FIVE POINTS if you spotted the Marvin Gaye reference - and a bonus ten if you can hum it. Ever wondered what the ‘T’ in DJ T stand for? Well, it’s just plain old Thomas to his friends but there’s nothing plain about his brand new album, ‘The Pleasure Principle’ (also the title of a Parlet album, twenty bonus points if you spotted that), out 28th March on Get Physical.

As salacious and body moving as both the album and label names suggest, it’s packed full of eminently dancefl oor

friendly tracks while guest vocalists such as dOP, Dave Aju and Nick Maurer, ex-singer with Greens Keepers, show that Mr T has made one or two friends during his years in the business. With appearances at Electric Pickle on 25th March and Space on 26th March, catch him dropping his chart of Miami weapons next week, including Steffi ’s inescapable vocal anthem ’Yours’ which we reckon will be one of the tunes of the Ultra week.
