Two new steel bolt anchors from TOX: Whatever the application the new S-FIX 1 and S-FIX 7 from TOX hold on to their promises.

he biggest S-FIX 1 has a diameter of 16 millimetres – and it holds over two tonnes. With a maximum admissible load of 2,010 kilograms in cracked and non-cracked concrete, it fulfils the requirements of ETAG Option 1 (holding ETA 07/0216 for steel and ETA - 07/0218 for A4 stainless steel).

The S-FIX 7, which has ETA Option 7 approval (ETA - 07/0217), specialising in

non-cracked concrete applications, is just good value for money. S-FIX 7 is made from galvanised zinc-coated steel and has a long continuous

thread, washer and hex-nut making it suitable for fixing steel constructions, brackets, ladders, cablings, railings, shelves and supports. A cold-formed anchor with an expansion clip (3 tongues and 6 lugs) to ensure identical, safe, and even fastening in the drill hole. All bolt anchors are ready-to-use made and of rational fastening system for heavy duties.

TOX S-FIX is available in all diameters from 6mm to

16mm, and the S-FIX 7 is also available in 20mm diameter. All bolt anchors are offered for sale to the professional or retail market in a cardboard box. The S-FIX 1 is now available in high-grade stainless steel A4 for external applications in the open. A smaller blister version was launched for the DIY market at the end of 2008.

The smart throughbolt

At the beginning of 2011, pgb-Polska obtained ETA option 1 approval for cracked concrete with its throughbolt, the SMART KA, KAH, KAK and KAK HCR (ETA-10/0472).

Scell-it planning BZ launch

Scell-it is planning to launch the ‘BZ’, a new throughbolt which has been priced to allow Scell-it’s distributors to be even more competitive in the European market.

launched in Scell-it headquarters in Lille, France, and in subsidiaries Scell-it UK and Scell-it Polska in April 2011. The throughbolt BZ already has a Polish technical agreement.
