Rapierstar new facility nears completion

Fastener and fixing supplier Rapierstar Ltd is well underway with the development of its new head office and distribution centre near Congleton, Cheshire, UK.

apierstar, established in 1992, has either moved or extended its warehouse premises every three years, culminating now with this new 8,000m2

purpose designed facility, which will help to increase the

company’s efficiency and effectiveness even further. As well as enabling Rapierstar to provide a better service

to clients, the extra capacity means a massive 100% increase in storage, enabling larger stock holding to better cushion customers from fluctuating source prices and lead times. Managing director, David Furness commented: “We sell

experience and quality – our products are manufactured to our design and to our quality standards. The new facility

will benefit our customers in many ways as we will also be incorporating an extensive product test laboratory and customer information centre.” The company’s strength lies very much in the technical

knowledge and expertise of the team they have assembled. With that knowledge Rapierstar has widened its branded product range over the years to include StarPVCU™, StarTurn™, StarFix™, StarPin™, high impact polymer headed pins and nails, and StarDeck™. “Our industry demands high standards and we set out to

exceed these in terms of product quality and service offered,” explained David.
