We’re taking it hard this week in the shape of all things schranz from sample label Bluezone. Creators of electronic music at the fast end of the dance spectrum, take note; this pack was designed using only the best professional hardware and software to generate big, heavy sounding loops, with some one- shots and FX thrown in for use within four-to-the-floor tracks upwards of 140BPM.

There are subby swooshes, alien bells and distorted washing machines (well, kind of), all pretty much essential in a schranz masterpiece so we’re told.


The only downside of this pack is that there are no subfolders within the main loop folder to denote the kick loops from the no kick loops and music loops. This can be easily remedied, but while not a massive pain it’s the kind of organization we have come to expect as standard from sample labels.


All in all, this is worthwhile content for producers of schranz, hard techno, hardstyle and hardcore.
