The Middle East’s premier trade show for the parks and attractions industry is just weeks away, and once again visitors will be able to enjoy a full seminar programme as part of the proceedings

Sessions are also scheduled on management and staff training, marketing and sponsorship, inflatable attractions, indoor play, 10-pin bowling and coin-op games, with speakers including Leisure Consultants’ Bob Boyle, Richard Taylor from Bounceabouts, Beth Standlee of Trainertainment. As well as the WWA and ALES-UK, support for the event is pledged from the Amusement Industry Council of Europe (AiCE), the American Amusement Manufacturers Association (AAMA), the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and IAAPI (India).


eld a few weeks earlier than usual – from April 4 onwards – the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure show (DEAL) is now in its 17th year and organiser International Expo Consults (IEC) is promising more than 30 new exhibitors for 2011 “We’ve been delighted with the response to DEAL 2011,” confirms IEC chairman Abdul Rahman Falaknaz. “With the opening of such prestigious developments as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s amusement industry is showing positive signs of future growth.” In total, more than 200 exhibitors from 30 countries are expected to participate. Among them will be several Ferrari World suppliers, including Huss Park Attractions, Mack Rides and Maurer Söhne, promoting its latest product innovation, the FlyingLaunch, alongside local companies including Amusement Services International (ASI) and Warehouse of Games.

World Waterpark Association (WWA) will be holding its 4th Middle East Symposium on April 3 and 4. A full education schedule is promised, together with waterparks tours, a reception, a Sunday night dinner and support materials for all registered delegates.
