GET ON THE COURSE: Diamond Brand supports the local running community by sponsoring local races. In 2011, we will be sponsoring a new race, the Ramble Run 12K and 5K and also the WNC Run/Walk for Autism. We have also been a sponsor of the Asheville Citizen-Times Half Marathon the last two years.

GET TOGETHER: Diamond Brand has a running group that meets every Wednesday at 6 pm at various locations, like Fletcher Park, the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, downtown Asheville and Bent Creek. We have a Running Group Rewards program, where each member receives a card, which we sign off on every time a running group is attended. Members can rack up great prizes like a Brooks running shirt, a running hat, or even shoes. Diamond Brand also offers training groups. We had a 10K training group that met over the winter, and we now have a training group set up for the Ramble Run 12K and 5K. We plan on also setting up a half-marathon training group for the Asheville Citizen-Times Half Marathon.
