 SHULTZ LECTURE TUESDAY 8 FEBRUARY 2011, 5:30 P.M. George P. Shultz Lecture Series with General James F. Amos 35th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps


On October 22, 2010 General James F. Amos assumed the duties of Commandant of the Marine Corps. He is the fi rst Marine Aviator to serve as Commandant. He commanded the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing in combat operations from 2002-2004, including the March to Baghdad in 2003. Sub- sequently, he commanded the II Marine Expeditionary


Force. He was the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration for two years and the Assistant Commandant for two years prior to his current assignment. As Commandant of the Marine Corps, he also serves as a member of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff. Join us for what prom- ises to be an informative and very interesting evening.
