He released his greatest hits album which featured a whopping ten top 40 singles, two number ones and two exclusive new tracks – not bad for a man on about the fourth incarnation of his career. He brought Brighton to a standstill playing to 250,000 people on the beach, was banned from playing in Brighton, headlined the ‘Other Stage’ at Glastonbury, played on Brighton Beach again (but with crowd control this time), headlined Glastonbury again


plus O2 Wireless Festival, South West Four and Rockness Festival, went into rehab, came out of rehab and ran the Brighton Marathon. Oh yeah, and he wrote and produced a bit of music as well including ‘Brighton Port Authority’. So who better to guide us through some of the biggest hits of this period?
