DJ Gregory joins the

House Masters Win new Defected compilation

WE’RE BEEN FANS of DJ Gregory since buying ‘Block Party’ on Africanism many moons ago, plus the superb ‘Attend 2’ on Faya Combo. Since then he’s gone from strength to strength, winning ‘most innovative producer’ at the House Music Awards and more recently travelling to Angola and Brazil to develop his taste for percussive house. Given the popularity of the sound he’s been pushing for years, both in Dutch house and UK funky, it’s not surprising that he’s now upped sticks and moved to Amsterdam, working with the likes of Gregor Salto. The next subject of Defected’s House Master series, a new double CD collects the best of his original productions and tracks that have been remixed. Out now, it features current hits such as ‘Paris Luanda’ alongside classics like the Kenny Dope remixed ‘Tropical Soundclash’.
