Each 2.4 metre length comes with four lids, two of which can
be removed to accomodate service outlet boxes. The lids come in
Channeling
two sizes: service outlet 300mm long (2 off) and trunking lid
900mm long (2 off). The trunking lid is fitted with turnbuckles which
allows flexibility of service box positions. 10 no. lids, each 300mm
CENTAUR
long to give complete access along the length, can be supplied on request at extra cost.
A low level divider is permanently fastened to the bottom of the trunking. High level dividers of lift
PVC Channel (High Impact)
out design sit between the low level dividers, and give support to the lids. High level dividers are
the same length as the lids thus eliminating the cutting of dividers on site. At the point of contact
between lid and divider a rubber gasket is fitted to reduce surface traffic noise. Service outlet box
is fitted by simply removing a 300mm length of lid, and the pre-cut high level divider. The service
outlet box is then fitted and held in position by turnbuckles. The low level divider maintains cable
segregation under the service outlets. Clearance below fitted service outlet panels is 31mm. The
service outlet lid is manufactured from 2.5mm gauge galvanised steel, coated in grey epoxy paint
to match the polyproplene carpet trim, and is fitted with a polyproplene insert which houses cable
outlets and lifting handle. The lid pivots to an angle of 80º. The carpet trim is supported with gal-
vanised steel frame. The lid assembly is fixed to the service outlet box by means of two 5mm Product Ref Code Width (mm) Width (in) Length Pack Qty Price Per 100M Price Per M
