Nick L. Wilson (MBA ’76), president of Morrison Container Handling Solutions, will become chairman of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute board of directors on January 1, 2011. He has been a member of the board since 2006 and served as vice chairman and executive committee member in 2010.


Richard Dutkiewicz (BBA ‘77) was named executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Cypress, California-based Real Mex Restaurants.


Carlos A. Pereda (BBA ’77) worked for 10 years at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after graduating. He then owned his own insurance agency and sold it after 20 years. Now he has an online business.


Dimitri A. Sala, OFM (BA ‘77), saw his first book, The Stained Glass Curtain, published by Creation House. The book presents what the Catholic Tradition officially teaches about


salvation and shows how this information can bridge divisions between Evangelicals and Catholics. It is favorably endorsed by a number of known Evangelical leaders and authors.


Heriberto Leon (BA ’78) is a consultant at Illinois Quadel for the Chicago Housing Authority’s Choice Voucher Program. He trains and manages staff who are responsible for providing housing assistance to more than 24,000 Chicago families.


Christopher L. Picone (BBA ’78) is president of and general counsel for Buccino & Associates, Inc., a top strategic and financial consulting firm, and will divide his time between the firm’s Chicago and New York offices. He formerly served as Buccino’s managing director and head of its national real estate practice.


James P. Reichmann III (BBA ‘78, MBA ‘86) published clinical peer- reviewed articles on evidence-based medicine applied to home obstetrical


services in Managed Care, the Journal of Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology, the official journal of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also co-authored an article in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology suggesting a possible link between a drug commonly administered during pregnancy and autism spectrum disorder that received an “editors’ choice” designation.


Chester J. Taranowski, PhD (MSW ’79), is the employee assistance coordinator for Aon Corporation.


Michael D. DeGould, DDS (BS ‘80), received a patent for his invention, the “Hand and Digit Immobilizer for Pulse Oximetry.”


Mark Mitrovich (SBA ’80) joined Harris Bank as vice president of institutional market government banking. Mitrovich spent the last 10 years as Chicago’s deputy city treasurer.


John H. Ritzen (MBA ’80) is managing director for Cargill Environmental Finance.

Timothy R. Cahoon (BBA ’80) is a member of the Sacramento Compensation & Benefits Association, Western Pension & Benefits Conference, and an associate docent for the David B. Gamble House.


Deborah J. Barrett (MA ’81) is a counselor at a private practice and a counseling teacher of Zen Meditation, and serves as part-time faculty at California State University, Fullerton.


Jill W. Osborn (MSIR ’81), president of Minneapolis- based Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation, has joined Enterprise Minnesota’s board of directors. Enterprise Minnesota helps manufacturing companies improve their efficiencies, contain their costs, and achieve growth in sales


revenue and earnings.


Walbur R. Salcedo (MBA ’81), retired for three years, is an instructor in finance and accounting at the University of Phoenix in Houston.


Paul Schneider (MSIR ‘82) is president/ CEO of Grant Alexander in North America, a human resources and management consulting firm.


Regina Kwan Peterson (JD ’83) was appointed director of administration for the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar by the Illinois Supreme Court.


Robert D. Shecterle (MUND ’83) is vice president of marketing for Aravo, “the leading provider of on-demand supplier information management software and services.” He drives Aravo’s marketing strategy and execution and leads corporate and external communications.


Alisa A. Arnoff (BA ‘84, JD ‘88) was elected a fellow of the National College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.
