Norville Center for Intercollegiate Athletics, offi cially opens. In May, historic Alumni Gym, an iconic building on campus since 1924, will close its doors to make way for a new student union. To give the old gym a proper send-off , Elizabeth Parkinson (BS ’75) and Trustee Frank Hogan (MS ’59, MEd ’80) are co-chairing a committee to celebrate its history with an offi cial closing party. “All Loyola Ramblers and their fans are invited to attend one last party in Alumni Gym on May 7,” says Parkinson.
