Beatport have kindly put together a selection of charts from tonight’s Best of British nominees which you can see here if you haven’t already. Having bumped into Tim Green at all manner of after parties recently, we thought we’d single him out to sing his praises. After spending time in Miami and Ibiza this year, we can honestly say his chunky, percussive sound owned the summer, his teasing remix of Mark Broom’s disco-fi ed ‘Supersnout’ followed by a respectful update of Cassius’
equally bright ‘1999’ and the mighty ‘Old Sunshine’ for Get Physical, which they’ve kindly given us to include on our Best of British CD available with our January edition. It’s was most certainly the sound of a young producer hitting his stride and while he’s already a well-respected underground DJ and producers, we’re sure even bigger things are beckoning.
