David Lynch on

Sunday Best Direct his videos

LEFTFIELD AND OCCASIONALLY INCOHERENT DIRECTOR David Lynch, whose work includes Twin Peaks, Eraserhead and Blue Velvet, releases his debut single ‘Good Day’/’I Know’ on Sunday Best of 31st January. With the lead cut a slice of suitably warped, new age house that comes on like Boards of Canada at 125bpm, his iconic status as a film visionary has attracted a long list of high profile remixers in the shape of Underworld, Simon from Basement Jaxx, Sasha, Skream, Boys Noize, Coldplay producer Jon Hopkins, Diskjokke, Sunday Best boss Rob da Bank (well you would wouldn’t you) and Dan Le Sac. And if that’s not enough to get you interested – which let’s face it, is, full stop, end of – then Lynch is also asking for film makers to submit short films to accompany the tracks . Wowoweee wowowoo.
