DIFFICULTY: Moderate to advanced, class III/IV DISTANCE: Full run is 7 km for a half-day trip or just park and play. WATER LEVEL: High until end of May; mid to low all summer long WATER TEMP: Cold in April; warming up by mid-May PUT-IN: At Big Eddy Rapid—exit off Hwy 17 onto Murphy Rd W., take the fi rst right onto Rantz Rd. and park at the boulders beside the river. TAKE-OUT: Golf Course Rapid- Exit Highway 17 onto Murphy Rd E., follow it through town- it becomes Civic Centre Rd., turn left onto Laurentian Drive, turn left onto Tall Pines Rd., park on the shoulder.
