A weather and climate policy is required to guide a na- tional response to climate change. Immediate action is required to address how climate change in Uganda is contributing to unreliable and de- clining agricultural production. The Parliamentary Forum on Climate Change has been formed. It is important that the Forum raises awareness amongst legislators about climate change in Uganda. NAPA has been formulated to guide corrective actions that will be implemented both for adaptation to and mitigation against the effects of climate change. NAPA requires greater funding and mainstreaming into key economic sectors such as agriculture.
