DSA publications updated
DSA has released new editions of its offi cial publications for drivers and riders. The updated titles are available in book format or CD-ROM and, for the first time, as an instant access download. The practical test DVD for car drivers has also been updated to include information on independent driving, in preparation for changes to the test this October. Business Link: new links for instructors
New links have been set up so approved driving instructors (ADIs) can quickly and easily access information about their profession on Business Link.

Jail sentence for test impersonator
A man who impersonated theory and practical driving test candidates has been sent to prison for 20 months following a joint investigation by DSA and Suffolk Police. Read the press release

Withdrawal of test routes
To help make the driving test more representative of real driving, as of 4 October DSA will no longer publish details of test routes. This change is being made to support the introduction of independent driving. Read the press release
