Welcome to the new Despatch

If you're reading this, you'll already have noticed we've made a few changes to Despatch.

Just like every other part of government, we've had to tighten our belts and look at how to do things more efficiently. For Despatch, this means no longer sending out hard copies in the post.

Making the magazine more economical was a necessity, but we also see it as an opportunity. Not only is this new online version of Despatch more environmentally friendly, it will also be much more interactive. We'll be including links so you can go straight to the information and services you need, and we'll also be incorporating multimedia content like videos and podcasts.

But that doesn't mean you'll only be able to read the magazine on screen. We've made sure it's easy to print so you can read it when and wherever it suits you. We'll also be able to keep you up to date more regularly, as we'll now be publishing Despatch every month instead of every two months.

We hope you like the new format, but we want to hear your suggestions for how we can make it better – send us your comments and suggestions at pressoffice@dsa.gsi.gov.uk.
