James Naismith, Class of 1891, returned to campus for good in April when a larger-than-life-size bronze casting of the inventor of basketball was installed
on the Naismith Green. The sculptor is Elden Tefft. In the background is Judd Gymnasia, currently under- going extensive renovation. (See story, page 18.)
