Every spring and fall Diamond Brand Outdoors hosts a Gear Swap. The swap is a great way to unload some old equipment or find great deals on used gear. Anyone is able to purchase a booth to sell their old gear, and our proceeds from selling booth space are donated to a non-profit organization. Proceeds from the upcoming fall Gear Gear Swap will benefit the Carolina Climbers Coalition (CCC). Established in

1995, this organization was founded with the purpose of “preserving the natural environment, promoting safe climbing practices, and preserving climber’s access to climbing areas in North and South Carolina.” Recently this organization acquired Rumbling Bald, which is now part of Hickory Nut Gorge State Park. In order to

finance the acquisition to keep this land protected, the CCC had to take out a loan. We encourage all climbers and outdoor enthusiasts to visit this organization’s website at carolinaclimbers.org, where you can donate and support a great cause.
