Sleeping Pad Drive

In response to the catastrophic earthquake that took place on January 12 in the Caribbean Island of Haiti, Diamond Brand Outdoors partnered with Park Ridge Hospital to provide relief in the form of sleeping pads. Diamond Brand customers brought in their old sleeping pads to the store and received a 30-percent discount on purchases storewide in return. Over the course of two months over 300 sleeping pads were collected. This contribution helped Park Ridge Hospital reach their goal of sending 2,000 sleeping pads to Haiti. In addition to organizing a mass donation of sleeping pads, Park Ridge sent doctors, technicians, and nurses to assist in the relief effort. When these relief workers returned to the U.S., they stopped by Diamond Brand to share some of their incredible stories. The generous efforts put forth by Park Ridge are heart-warming. Diamond Brand is proud to have partnered with this organization for this cause.
