Tennessee Pastors Paint and Plant

UNION CITY, Tenn.—A Church of God covenant group in west Tennessee does much more than just fellowship together. Since the beginning of 2010, this group has done a facelift on three church buildings in their area. They painted the entryway and sanctuary of two churches and provided landscaping for another congregation.

In May, six members of the group traveled to Iowa to do some cosmetic work on three more Church of God facilities—the Relevant and Valley Junction congregations in Des Moines, and the Knoxville church. The team members also preached in vari- ous Iowa churches.

Members of this covenant group are Murray Blurton, Dennis Cleek, Tommy Morgan, Robert Davis, Barry Fowler, Kenny Ches- sor, Mike Davis, and Sam Swanson.
