The 27-year-old from Newbury had kept a string of VWs and just keeps on adding to the list - the latest being this ‘57 Oval. It was March 2006 when Oli saw this Oval for sale. Having agreed a price, he hopped on a train to Scotland and brought it home. Although it had just undergone a six- month refresh and was ready to hit the road, it wasn’t how Oli wanted it and nor had the work been done to a very high standard, so a plan of action was drawn up.
