Presently, there are 3 panels of “Cavalieri & Crumb” finished. These will be shown, along with the Simpson’s pieces, at SOFA Chicago, at the Navy Pier, November 5-7, 2010 with an opening on November 4.
Cavalieri’s work has been exhibited in art galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. He works full time as a glass artist from his studio in the East Village of Manhattan, and teacher at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn, his next beginners stained glass class is December 2010. He will have a 2 1/2 week painting on stained glass class at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina in July 2011.
Joseph’s public art commission can be seen at the Philipse Manor Train Station in New York. He is currently residing at the Museum of Arts and Design, at the Open Studio program. For his schedule at MAD and to see more work go to
