Your Island Guide

Society Islands Te Society Islands are what your daydreams are made of: crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and lush mountains that leap almost vertically from turquoise lagoons. Snorkel alongside a school of butterflyfish in Bora Bora; explore a marae, an open-air temple, on an off-road safari in Moorea; and float the day away in the azure waters of our private motu off Taha’a.

Tuamotus Drenched in transparent lagoons and low-lying atolls, the Tuamotus are world- renowned for their snorkeling and diving. Swim with playful dolphins, curious rays, and a myriad of colorful fish at Rangiroa; in nearby Fakarava, dive with sharks at the famed Garuae Pass, and peruse the black pearls and shell necklaces for which the Tuamotus are famous.

Cook Islands Te Cook Islands are a study in contrasts. Aitutaki is so flat you can see the ocean from virtually any point on the island. On Rarotonga, you can hike a jungle trail to a hidden waterfall alongside “Pa,” our local guide. Te islands’ natives are well known for their traditional song, dance, and crafts such as tvlaevai, intricate quilts inspired by nature.

The Marquesas Te Marquesas’ mist-laden mountains and untouched wilderness are shrouded in mystery. Count the wild stallions running free on Ua Huka, drive the only road on Fatu Hiva, and stand before the resting place of Paul Guaguin in Hiva Oa, where our namesake was buried beneath a statue of a Polynesian goddess.
