Having caught him at the Space opening weekend - alongside Phonica’s Anthea - it’s no surprise that the star of Greek-born, London-based, Alex Celler is in the accession. Producing exactly the kind of swinging tribal beats and filtered disco (check the superb ‘Ceadmon Loop’) that’s smashing the golden isle right now, releases for Cocoon, Tuning Spork, Area Remote, Cecille, Freak N Chic and Buzzin’ Fly have secured his reputation with the house music elite, from minimal masters Ricardo Villalobos and Loco Dice to old school house heads Dennis Ferrer and DJ Sneak.


It’s exactly this fusing of old and new that characterizes his freerange approach to DJing and sees his return to Space in Ibiza for Kehakuma on the 15th of September.
