CONCRETE FIRERING & HEAT SHIELDS Multilevel Campfire Ring
CONCRETE FIRERING & HEAT SHIELDS
• Model L-32 features a 300 sq. inch cooking grate that adjusts to 4 levels, from 2" to 8" above the ring height. Construction includes 3/16" thick steel for the ring and adjustment panels. The 1" formed flange reinforces the ring. The cooking grate is welded together using 5/8" dia. handle/support bars with coiled steel grips, and 1/2" grate bars. Tip back anchor pins secure the ring in place but allow it to tip up for easy clean up. Finished with high temp non-toxic black enamel paint.
• Optional: bolt on utility shelf Model S5. See Page 94.
• Optional: Model RL-35 steel riser platform for L-32/6 firering. Combined units are wheelchair accessible. Hard surface installation (anchors not included). Use #ANC1-4 anchor kit. See Page 96.

Heat Shields — for Added Protection from Hot Surfaces
• An optional Heat Shield is available on some Pilot Rock firerings (see chart below). This Shield can be added to new or previously installed Pilot Rock firerings to give protection from hot surfaces around the outside of the ring. The 10 ga. x 8" high Shield provides a 1-1/4" air gap around the area of these tall rings exposed to heat (the lower portion of these rings is filled with aggregate). The Shield ring has a 3/8" wide strengthening flange formed to the inside. Any debris that might get between the ring and the Shield will fall out the open bottom.
• Installation of the Heat Shield requires no modification of the firering or cooking grate, and installs with 3 bolt-on clamps. To order a Heat Shield on a new firering add “/H” at the end of the model number. To order a Heat Shield for an existing firering see the model numbers below.
• Optional: bolt on utility shelf Model S5. See Page 94.
Note on accessibility: Current ADA guidelines define the space around campfire rings to provide 48" of clearance. Exceptions can reduce this clearance to 36". In these tighter clearances a Heat Shield could provide an added level of safety.
