Yorkshire Bank 150th Anniversary Community Awards
NIACE was delighted to receive one of the Yorkshire Bank’s Community ‘Commended’ Awards, presented to members of the West Midlands regional team in November 2009.
In the spirit of the bank’s awards, NIACE felt that it would like to celebrate further by offering a Yorkshire Bank Special Adult Learners’ Week Award in the East and West Midlands.
The Yorkshire Bank awards recognised charities and communities grouped across four main areas, of which education was one.
This strand and the others are an integral part of their Corporate Responsibility agenda.
Dean Cutbill, Director for Yorkshire Bank said, “As a business we’re passionately committed to supporting education in our communities,
which is why we’re so delighted that NIACE was able to use the prize money to fund such a worthwhile cause.”
