THERE ARE CROWD-PLEASING DJS, there are DJ’s DJs, and then there’s Andy Blake. With the seemingly effortless ability to have you going bananas to Polish cold wave like its the most natural thing in the world, his knack for unearthing obscure dancefloor killers has seen his DJ diary fill with international dates, while becoming a permanent fixture on East London’s disco scene.

New label Cave Paintings follows the much-feted Dissident, providing a home for good old fashioned analogue jackers which you can also hear alongside new beat, synth-wave and heavy balearica on Friday 14th May at World Unknown, the night Andy runs with Joe Hart, at a secret all-night Brixton location. Synth- pop post-punk duo Gold Blood also bring the live noise.
