Jamie Anderson invites us into his Front Room
HOT ON THE HEELS of his recent release for Jesse Rose’s Front Room Recordings, we caught up with house and techno don Jamie Anderson.
From his earliest beginnings in the 90s as a producer and label owner, to his blistering modern-day house grooves or Teutonic main room techno alongside Bristolian dance duo Deepgroove, Jamie Anderson has been at the forefront of cutting-edge dance music for well over a decade.
We caught up with him to find out more about his new collaborative project with Mija head Louis Osbourne, the re-launch of his Artform label and his brotherly love for Jesse Rose.

FORMED IN 1979 from the ashes of punk, and named after a Brian Eno lyric, A Certain Ratio’s infl uential blend of punk, funk, disco and Latin can be traced through the Manchester baggy explosion to the revived interest in punk-funk and no wave disco. Signed to the legendary Factory Records, the band played live at the opening of the Hacienda alongside The Bronx’s ESG, whom ACR later toured with in New York as well as with a newly formed New Order and a very youthful Madonna.
We spoke with original member Martin Moscrop to fi nd out about new album, ‘Mind Made Up’.
